SEDONA - OAK CREEK CANYON FROM LAS VEGAS

From Las Vegas and the Mojave Desert, we climb the Colorado Plateau through massive Ponderosa Pine forests, along Route 66 to Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona. The world famous Oak Creek Canyon Scenic drive descends through 2000 vertical feet of sandstone in a lush green canyon with a year-round, spring fed creek. Favorite views in Oak Creek Canyon include the Canyon Overlook and Slide Rock State Park, where you might even get to dip your feet in the cool creek ripples!

Following our time in Oak Creek Canyon, the tour will begin to explore the mystique surrounding Sedona with options ranging from cultural and spiritual to adventurous and active.  Made famous by its marvelous red rock cliffs, Sedona plays host to world class artisans, outdoor enthusiasts and the “occasional” tourist.   The tour of Sedona will include visits to the famous Red Rock features of Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock and Snoopy Rock to name a few, as well as the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross.  In uptown Sedona, you can explore on foot the many art galleries and shops, get a psychic reading, or enjoy the serenity that Sedona provides with a glass of wine on the balcony. As we tour the stunning Red Rock town, we will also make a tour stop at the internationally renowened Tlaquepaquer, Sedona's Art and Craft center.  If something more adventerous is in oder, Off Road Jeep Tours exploring the backcountry of Sedona or a Helicopter Tour to gain a bird’s eye perspective of the surrounding area are available.
