American boy band New Kids on the Block shot to international fame with "Hangin' Tough" and "Step by Step," selling 80 million albums worldwide, most of which likely bought by preteen girls.

NKOTB disbanded in 1994 as the band members went on to solo singing and acting careers. In 2013, the band released "10," debuting at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart.
