LeAnn Rimes wants her fans to see her as something more than a voice. She's all grown up now, she said in an open letter to her fans.

"I have something to say," she said of her 2013 album "Spitfire." "I met my husband Eddie under complicated circumstances, and you can (search) that too, but if you really want my truth, just listen to the music.

"Writing songs from such a personal space is part of that growth. I'm learning to let go of myself and just feel the emotion of what I'm doing. On this album, I feel like people are going on that journey with me. We're embarking on it together."

In addition to her music career, Rimes has appeared in film and television with roles in "Coyote Ugly," "Good Intentions," "Drop Dead Diva," "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" and more.
