Cheech & Chong are touring the country with street band, War, as part of the comedy duo's Up in Smoke tour.
"The 'Up in Smoke' gig with War will be a celebration of the legalization of our right to party all night long," Chong said. "Bring plenty of water; the stage is going sizzling hot as it's going up in smoke."
The comedy legends first made their mark on the L.A. comedy scene in the early '70s when they captivated audiences with their zany routines founded on the uninhibited spirit of the times. They released nine comedy albums between 1972 and 1985, which earned them four Grammy nominations. In 1972, their sophomore release, "Big Bambu," became the top-selling album of all time and held the record for several years.
They earned a Grammy award for their third album "Los Cochinos," released in 1973.
