Romano made regular appearances at comedy clubs and on talk shows, including "The Tonight Show" with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno and the "Late Show with David Letterman." The Letterman gig led to a deal with the production company Worldwide Pants Incorporated, leading to the sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," which began in 1996.

His hit TV show earned Romano nominations and awards, including a 2002 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy and four People's Choice Award for Favorite Male TV Performer (2002 - 2006), and he shared the 2003 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

He headlined a comedy festival at Carnegie Hall, won and donated $125,000 on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and wrote the best-selling book "Everything and a Kite." He also released the CD "Ray Romano: Live at Carnegie Hall," and proceeds went to the September 11th Fund.

Romano lent his voice to the 2002 animated film "Ice Age," where he played Manny the woolly mammoth. He also appeared in "Eulogy" (2004) and "Welcome to Mooseport" (2004). Romano has revived his role of Manny in three Ice Age sequels, videos games and will voice Manny again in the 5th Ice Age movie in 2016. In 2008 Romano returned to television in the TNT series "Men of a Certain Age." The series ran for two years. In 2012, Romano joined the cast of "Parenthood" on NBC where he continues to perform as Hank Rizzoli.

Absinthe

absinthe22

     absinthe 2 absinthe 3   absinthe 4

There's a large white tent located in front of Caesars Palace. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but don't be fooled. This humdrum structure is home to one of the wildest shows on the Las Vegas Strip. One step inside and you're transported to the Moulin Rouge. The walls are decorated with colorful stained-cut glass, mirrors and kitschy artifacts. In the center of the tent is a tiny stage with seating situated around it. It's the perfect setting for Absinthe, an adults-only, circus-style spectacular that combines old-world burlesque with specialty acts and outrageous comedy. You won't find much refinement here, but for guests who want a show that's daring, racy and over-the-top, you might just want to order a double when it comes to Absinthe. "If you're offended by words like f*** or s*** you just might be at the wrong f***'in show," says Absinthe's host The Gazillionaire. Sporting an ill-fitting white tuxedo, dark slicked-down hair, gold shoes and an exaggerated version of his manhood, The Gazillionaire looks just as absurd as his personality. He's crass, provocative and wildly entertaining. He acts as ringmaster for the show, but don't expect him to introduce any clowns who do balloon art or lead a line of elephants on parade. Instead, Absinthe has blond bombshell Angel Porrino from "Holly's World" who gets inside a balloon and a dynamic cast of performers who were likely plucked from places just as exotic as the African outback.

Morrissey

morrissey21

 SHOW CANCELLED

Morrissey, once voted the second-greatest living British cultural icon (behind David Attenborough and before Paul McCartney), takes on this residency as his second theatrical outing of its kind following a hallmark sold-out Broadway residency at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater in New York City, which earned unanimous praise from press. The Vegas residency, his latest stateside shows after a string of acclaimed tour dates with alt-rock icons Interpol last fall, comes on the heels of the announcement of Morrissey’s 13th solo album and third studio album for BMG, defiantly titled “I Am Not A Dog on a Chain,” set to be released on March 20. The Vegas residency will serve as an intimate, invigorating dive into Morrissey’s expansive career from his early days to the new album. As an artist who is always trying new things, and never wanting to repeat himself, this could be fans' only change to experience the provocative combination of Morrissey in Las Vegas. These shows are not to be missed.

'I Am Not A Dog on a Chain' was produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (Beck, Tori Amos, The Strokes, The Killers, The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and more), and recorded at Studio La Fabrique in Saint-Rémy de Provence, France, and Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California. Lead single “Bobby, Don’t You Think They Know?,” featuring backing vocals by legendary R&B icon Thelma Houston, was released to great critical and fan response, while his most recent release “Love Is On Its Way Out” was praised by Rolling Stone who said it “boasts cavernous drums and a prickly synth arpeggio that periodically veers into atmospheric spaces while still steadily building to a climactic peak...Morrissey’s vocals carry their characteristic heft.”

Of the epic duet, the GRAMMY-winning Houston said "one of the biggest joys for me in this business is getting the opportunity to collaborate with other top artists. I love the challenge to see if what I do can work with what they're doing. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I think the blend of what Morrissey is singing and what I'm singing really works on 'Bobby.'” Chiccarelli teased that the upcoming album is Moz’s “boldest and most adventurous yet...he has pushed the boundaries yet again, both musically and lyrically. He is in his own category. No one can be Morrissey but ... Morrissey!” According to the man himself, ‘I Am Not a Dog on a Chain’ will be a return to form for the alt-pop pioneer who calls the album “the very best of me … too good to be true … too true to be considered good.”

Recently, Morrissey announced two U.K. arena concerts as well as dates in Cologne, Germany and Paris, France while his cover of Roy Orbison’s 60’s classic “It’s Over” from his celebrated covers album California Son, enjoyed a No. 1 chart position on UK Vinyl Singles chart.

Bill Maher has gone from performing on the stand-up comedy stage to hosting his own successful talk show.

Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Maher began his comedy career after graduating from Cornell University as an English major. He honed his skills on the New York club scene during the early '80s.

Maher began earning small acting roles in comedies like "D.C. Cab" and he landed a supporting role as a sleazy attorney in the sitcom "Sara" starring Geena Davis.

He was also featured on Comedy Central's "The A-List," HBO's "One Night Stand" and as a special correspondent for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

After his turn in sitcoms and movies, Maher found his perfect forum with the talk show "Politically Incorrect." The show placed Maher at the center of a diverse panel of four guests from the worlds of politics, media, literature and entertainment. Through heated debate mediated by Maher, guests discussed various opinions about the hottest issues of the day.

"Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher" launched in 1993 on Comedy Central, where it won four Cable ACE awards. The show then switched to ABC and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series.

Ending its run in July 2002, Maher moved over to HBO in 2003 where he can currently be seen on the late-night talk show "Real Time with Bill Maher."

His most recent book came out in 2011. It's the best-selling "The New New Rules: A Funny Look at How Everybody But Me Has Their Head Up Their Ass."

In addition to his talk show and writing commitments, Maher continues to make appearances on the big and small screens. In 2012 he was in the film "The Campaign" starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as himself. John, Paul, George and Ringo. As The Beatles, they changed the world. LOVE, Cirque du Soleil’s interpretation of their legacy, has changed entertainment.

With 360º seating, The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil tells a unique story from every angle, while a three-time Grammy winning soundtrack sets the backdrop for thrilling aerial acrobatics, colorful new imagery and reimagined choreography.

The Beatles lent so much to the consciousness of our culture. We agree wholeheartedly that LOVE is Cirque du Soleil’s purest interpretation of their vast legacy that changed both entertainment and the world.
